Engineering Nonlinearity research features in special issue of Philosophical Transactions A

RSTA_373_2051_Thumbnails_webThe field of nonlinear structural dynamics recently appeared in a dedicated theme issue of Philosophical Transactions A.

The Theme Issue aims to provide a first guide to industry when faced with complex vibration phenomena, and as an academic resource for connecting the islands inhabited by different specialists within the broad field of nonlinear structural dynamics. The result is a collection of papers that simultaneously provide a ready introduction to current methods for mitigating or exploiting nonlinear phenomena; as well as a snapshot of state-of-the-art research in several particularly challenging corners of the field.

The special issue includes papers from academics and researchers involved in the ENL project as well as contributions from industrial partners.
